Data Warehouse Challenge Day ~ 1 Day

Dimensional Modelling for the Data Warehouse ~ 3 Days
IT professionals who will be involved in the design, build or maintenance of a data mart or data warehouse, and need to understand the techniques involved in its design.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of relational database concepts such as joins, tables, primary keys, foreign keys, attributes and lookup tables.

Advanced BusinessObjects® Design ~ 2 Days
Specifically for people who have designed a BusinessObjects® universe for an on-line transaction processing (OLTP) database and want to learn how to enhance the design in terms of effectiveness and performance.

Prerequisites: A thorough understanding of relational databases and client-server concepts. Must be SQL-literate and familiar with report creation and analysis from a user perspective using either BusinessObjects® or WebIntelligence®. Must be able to build Universes in an OLTP environment

Dimensional Modeling integrated with BusinessObjects® ~ 5 Days
IT professionals who will be involved in the design, build or maintenance of a data mart or Data Warehouse, using BusinessObjects® as the front-end query and reporting tool, and who need to understand the techniques involved in the design. Business Benefits

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of` relational database concepts such as joins, tables, primary keys, foreign keys, attributes and lookup tables. Good experience of the BusinessObjects® Designer module, as gained on the Universe Design course followed by some weeks practical use in the working environment.
