acusend™ also provides a facility to dynamically query any ADO/SQL data provider (i.e. any ODBC database, CSV files, the file system, an email in-box etc.) utilising the same parameterisation and management processes.

This allows any query to be run against any data source, parameterised dynamically for the recipient, producing output that is then formatted and distributed utilising the standard acusend™ features.

This mechanism is used to provide CSV and XML data file transfers to large sets of recipients, and is also capable of dynamically transforming the XML using standard XSLT processes.

acuQuery can also fully participate in the advanced event triggering functionality of acusend™, providing the flexibility to respond to trigger information from sources as disparate as an incoming email, through ODBC databases to information from Active Directory Services (ADS).
